- Your usual hours will be from 7:30am to 4:30pm from Monday to Saturday. However, you will be expected to work as and when is necessary to meet the needs of the team and your targets. Your job will be a mixture of travel and office based
Job description
Core Objectives
The Quality Assurance (QA) Manager will oversee the activity of the QC division, developing, implementing, and maintaining a system of quality and reliability testing for the organization’s products and/or development processes
Supervisory Responsibilities:
- Manage QC Team, arrange tasks according to the job requirements from time to time, to ensure the tasks are fulfilled the requirements set by company
- Train QC staff
- Establish, implement, and maintain the quality awareness throughout the team
- Responsible for continual improvement activities to enhance the QC SOP and the environment, through training and work instructions
- Oversees the daily workflow and schedules of the department
- Conducts performance evaluations that are timely and constructive
- Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Identifies and sets appropriate quality standards and parameters for products.
- Communicates quality standards and parameters to QC team, product development team, and other appropriate staff.
- Oversee the product manufacturing process to ensure quality
- Coordinates product testing processes
- Inspect the final product to make sure it has been built correctly with compliance to legal standards and meets customer expectations.
- Providing training to individuals who handle the product
- Work closely with Production Director and other production staff
- Liaise with managers and QC to ensure the smooth introduction of new QC processes and for reporting and reducing quality issues
- Be on the lookout for opportunities for improvement and develop new efficient procedures
Suppliers
- Set requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitor their compliance
- Ensure quick resolution of supplier quality failures, and implement corrective and preventive actions, through working with all related parties
Customers
- Reviews client, customer feedback.
- Communicate with customers in regard to samples and other issues
- Solicit feedback from customers to assess whether their requirements are met
Regulations
- Maintains compliance with organizational regulations, guidelines, and policies
Documentation
- Create and maintain the Company’s Quality Standards; develop, implement, and maintain the Company’s quality documentation, such as quality procedures, reports etc
- Conduct audits, create audits reports and determine proper corrective and preventive actions
- Responsible for process audits of the Quality Management System (QMS), ISO
- Submit detailed reports to appropriate executives

People or equipment
- People who report to you: You have responsibility for all of the team members who will report directly to you like QC Supervisors and staff.
- Equipment: You are responsible for the equipment provided to you for use in your job role and to your team. This means you must ensure that equipment is used in accordance with training provided, the organization’s policies and procedures and the law and using, where applicable any safety equipment or Personal Protective Equipment provided. You are responsible for ensuring that the equipment used by the team is maintained and can be used/operated at all times
Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or field related to the furniture products
- 3~5 years of experience in related field required with supervisory experience is a plus
- Outstanding English speaking and writing skills
- Ample experience in implementing corrective/preventive measures
- Quality assurance knowledge of tools and methodologies
- Certification on Quality Improvement associate, quality auditor, or quality engineer
- Certification of quality control is a strong advantage (ISO 9000 etc.)
- Excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
